Way Finders
Way Finders
2025

While in residency at Momozozo, an artist program run by Paula Wilson in Carrizozo, New Mexico, my husband Nicolas Papoin and I created a labyrinth in a vacant lot. Using gypsum powder, we crafted this 60-foot replica of the famous labyrinth found at Chartres Cathedral, also reminiscent of petroglyphs found throughout New Mexico. The project took us several days to complete. Once finished, we invited local townspeople to walk the labyrinth and contribute their offerings along the pathways, symbolizing the four directions.
